Uwe Aschmann (born August 13 or 15, 1955 in Blankenhain ) is a former German soccer player in the storm. He played for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) and BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Aschmann played in his youth at BSG Chemie Blankenhain. He then worked for BSG Motor Weimar from 1973 to 1976 . Aschmann then went to ASG Vorwärts Strausberg for a year before moving to FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) . There he was used three times in the GDR Oberliga. In 1978 Aschmann returned to BSG Motor Weimar. In 1981 he was committed to BSG Energie Cottbus, where he was used four times in the 1981/82 league season . He made his debut on November 28, 1981, when Cottbus lost 3-0 to FC Karl-Marx-Stadt . After relegation, he went to BSG Robotron Sömmerda for six years in 1982 , before ending his career at BSG Einheit Bad Berka in 1989.

After his football career, he worked briefly as a player coach in Bad Berka.
