Uwe Brock

Uwe Brock (born July 27, 1960 ) is a former German soccer player .

The defender came from the youth of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the first team that played in the 2nd Bundesliga in 1979/80 . He made his second division debut on August 21, 1979 in an away game in front of 10,000 spectators at DSC Wanne-Eickel (1: 3) when he came on for Helmut Buhsfeld in the 85th minute . He celebrated his first victory in the RWO jersey on the following match day. After his substitution for Werner Wildhagen , Oberhausen won 1-0 against Arminia Bielefeld in front of 8,000 spectators . From 1979 to 1981 Uwe Brock played a total of 18 games in the second division and had to be 14th in the table with the club in 1981 , with the introduction of the single-track 2. Bundesliga. relegate back to the Oberliga Nordrhein. In his first league year Brock came on 22 missions. In the 1982/83 season RWO was champion, under new coach Friedel Elting Brock made only one game. After the defender was no longer considered for the second division squad in 1983/84, he moved back to the Oberliga Nordrhein to Olympia Bocholt .
