Werner Wildhagen

Werner Wildhagen (born February 27, 1958 ) is a former German soccer player .

career

The midfielder came from the youth of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the first team, for which he made his debut in 1976 at the age of 18 in the Association League Niederrhein . In the season 1977/78 he reached the association league runner-up behind Olympia Bocholt with his club , whereby RWO qualified for the newly founded Oberliga Nordrhein . In the premiere season 1978/79 Werner Wildhagen was with Oberhausen champion of the Oberliga Nordrhein and rose to the 2nd Bundesliga, the midfielder scored eight goals in 28 appearances. From 1979 to 1981 he played a total of 34 games in the second division and had to join the club in 1981, with the introduction of the single-track 2. Bundesliga, as table 14. relegate back to the league. In 1981 Wildhagen moved to SpVgg Erkenschwick in the Oberliga Westfalen. A year later he went to 1. FC Mülheim in the association league Niederrhein.

He also began his coaching career at RWO in the youth department. After several years as coach of the 2nd team of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen Wildhagen was signed in spring 2007 by the relegation-threatened league club 1. FC Bocholt , where he replaced Franz-Josef Tenhagen . He also looked after the club in the Association League Niederrhein 2007/08. For the 2009/10 season he took over the U23 reserve from Schwarz-Weiß Essen . From 2010 to 2013 Werner Wildhagen was the coach of the national league club GSV Moers . For the 2013/14 season Wildhagen was the new coach of the upper division TuS Bösinghoven . After the season he took a break of several years. For the 2017/18 season Wildhagen took over the coaching position at the Oberhausen district league promoted SC Buschhausen.
