Uwe Greve
Uwe Greve (born December 28, 1940 in Leipzig ; † December 24, 2005 in Kiel ) was a Kiel politician ( CDU ).
Education and professional activities
Greve worked from 1969 to 1970 as a research assistant to the FDP parliamentary group in the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament and then worked as a freelance journalist and innovation consultant.
Political career
He had been a member of the Kiel CDU since 1971 and, since 1994, regional chairman of the East and Central German Association . In addition, Greve has been the federal chairman of the Bismarckbund eV, an association for German historical awareness, since 1998. From 2001 to March 2005 he was a member of the state parliament. His parliamentary work focused on Europe and education. When accepting his mandate, Uwe Greve said: “There are right and left democrats” - he himself prefers the term “conservative”. The amateur footballer was also an asset of the FC Landtag.
