Frank Uwe booklet (* 8. May 1963 in Merseburg ) is a German non-party politician and former member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Uwe Heft attended the polytechnic high school until 1979 and ended his school career in 1981 with the Abitur. In 1984 he graduated from the engineering university in the field of mechanical engineering . From 1987 to 1989 he worked as a research assistant at VEB Waggonbau Görlitz .

After reunification he worked as a buyer at DWA / Waggonbau Ammendorf GmbH and from 1998 to 2004 in the same area at Bombardier Transportation . In 2003 he completed advanced training to become a specialist in purchasing and logistics , and in 2004/05 he worked as a buyer at Pmtec Walzen GmbH . Heft is single and has two children.

At the beginning of 2008, Uwe Heft came into the public eye because of two incidents that were tried together at the Halle district court. A 2004 fraud allegation was dropped on the grounds of minority. In the other case, he was sentenced on July 16, 2008 for coercion and trespassing in a furniture store to 40 daily rates. What was explosive about the incident was that Uwe Heft threatened employees of the furniture store with consequences that he had " appropriate contacts as a member of the state parliament ".

politics

Heft joined the Democratic Socialism Party in 1989 and left it again in 2002. At the local political level, he has been a member of the city council of Halle (Saale) since 1990 , to which he was last re-elected in 2009.

In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2006 , Heft was elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via constituency 39 ( Hall IV ) . He sat for the left-wing group in the committee for regional development and transport.
