Uwe Voigt (politician, 1945)

Uwe Voigt (born May 28, 1945 in Bremen ) is a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life and politics

Voigt is a trained measurement and control mechanic and works as a self-employed insurance salesman.

He was a member of the Hamburg citizenship during the 11th electoral term from 1983 to 1986 and in the 14th electoral term from 1991 to 1993. There he sat for his parliamentary group on the committee for the situation and rights of foreigners and on the culture committee.

After his time in parliament he was a deputy in the cultural authority.
