Václav Kotva

Václav Kotva (born January 20, 1921 , † November 2, 2004 in Radnice ) was a Czech actor .

Kotva was known in many supporting roles in film and television. He played, among other things, a controller in Jiří Menzel's Hrabal film (Ostře sledované vlaky). He was also a long-time member of the drama in the Prague National Theater and until 1967 partly director. He died after a short illness.
