Václav Mrázek

Václav Mrázek (born October 22, 1925 , † December 29, 1957 in Prague ) was a Czechoslovak serial killer .

Life

Václav Mrázek was born in a small village near Svinařov as one of 12 children. His father was an alcoholic miner who physically abused his children and wife .

Between 1954 and 1957 he murdered a total of seven people. All of his victims were women. His murders were sexually motivated. After being stolen, he was arrested at his home in 1957 and subsequently confessed to the murders of eight women. In total, he was charged with eight murders and 127 other crimes. After a trial, he was sentenced to death and hanged in Pankrác Prison on December 29, 1957 .
