Víctor Guaglianone , full name Víctor Homero Guaglianone , (born September 24, 1936 in Montevideo ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.72 meter tall Guaglianone, which was used in the position of the right half , was already in 1954 in the ranks of the Montevideo Wanderers . He played for the Montevideans from at least 1957 to 1959 in the Primera División . In the 1959 season he was the top scorer there with 13 goals scored . In the season 1960/61 he completed a game (no goal) for the Italian first division club Lazio Rome . Then he was active again as a player for the Wanderers from 1961. There he was relegated with the club that year . However, his team won the championship title in the second division season in 1962 . He was instrumental in this with his goals as the second division shooter king of that season. For the 1963 season he returned with the Wanderers to the Uruguayan football club and was also in the top division the following year. In 1965 a career station at Asociación Deportiva 9 de Octubre is listed for him.
National team
Guaglianone was part of the Uruguayan junior national team, which took part in the 1954 South American Junior Championship in Venezuela and won the title. During the tournament he was used by coach Gerardo Spósito six times (two goals). He was also a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed eight international matches between March 8, 1959 and July 13, 1960, in which he scored four goals. With the Celeste he took part in the South American Championship in December 1959. There he won the title with Uruguay.
