Víctor Homero Rossi Rodríguez (born April 10, 1943 in La Paz ) is a Uruguayan politician .

Rossi sat in the 45th legislative period from February 15, 2000 to February 14, 2005 as a member of the Alianza Progresista Lista 738 within the party alliance Partido Encuentro Progresista-Frente Amplio ( Frente Amplio ) for the Montevideo department in the Cámara de Representantes . With the beginning of the following 46th legislative period on February 15, 2005, he again held a mandate as a representative of the party coalition Encuentro Progresista-Frente Amplio-Nueva Mayoría , which has now been expanded to include the Nuevo Espacio . In addition, he headed the Ministry of Transport and Public Buildings from March 1, 2005 to March 1, 2010, and from June 5 to June 16, 2009, he was also the interim minister of the interior from the resigned Daisy Tourné until Jorge Bruni took office . For the local elections in 2010 , his candidacy for the office of Intendente of San José was in the room.
