GDR Museum "Time Travel"

The buildings of VEB Kraftwerkanlagenbau, Wasastraße 50 in Radebeul are an example of the architecture of the industrial building of the 1970s in the GDR . 870 people once worked in the state-owned company with a floor space of 3500 square meters. From 2006 to 2016, the GDR Museum "Zeitreise" was located in the building complex, the "Germany's largest museum on everyday culture in the GDR".

The power plant construction consists of several buildings. A 6-storey building was built in 1976 to 1978 2 Megapond - frame construction built and has a curtain wall. Furthermore, a 5-storey building was built from 1970 to 1974 in steel frame construction and a single-storey social wing.
