history
On January 8, 1899, the "loan association Ismaning" (later Raiffeisenbank Ismaning) was founded, which was renamed in 1938 to "savings and loan association", in 1947 to "Raiffeisenkasse Ismaning eGmbH" and in 1972 to Raiffeisenbank.
In 1934 the "Kreditgenossenschaft Ismaning eGmbH" was founded, which in 1938 was changed to "Volksbank und Volkssparkasse Ismaning und Umgebung eGmbH" and from 1943 onwards was only called "Volksbank Ismaning eGmbH".
In 1965 the first branch opened in Garching . In 1968 the opening of the newly built Volksbank main office in Ismaning, which today is only a branch, was celebrated. In 1974 another branch was opened on Bahnhofsplatz in Ismaning. In 1976 a new Raiffeisen bank building followed on Bahnhofstrasse, which was expanded in 1989 and, together with a large new building, has been the main office of Volksbank Raiffeisenbank since 2006.
In 2003, Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank merged to form “Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Ismaning eG”.
In October 2014, the merger with “Raiffeisenbank Hallbergmoos-Neufahrn eG” took place and the name was changed to “VR-Bank Ismaning Hallbergmoos Neufahrn eG”.
