history
Since the Passauer Handwerker-Kreditgenossenschaft was founded in 1900, the bank has been based in the city of Passau at Ludwigsplatz 1. After several mergers with neighboring banks, today's VR-Bank Passau eG emerged in 2002 from Volksbank-Raiffeisenbank Passau-Freyung eG and Raiffeisenbank Fürstenzell eG. The last mergers took place in 2016 with Raiffeisenbank Hohenau-Mauth eG.
