The history of VR-Bank eG Schopfheim-Maulburg goes back to the year 1865. On November 3rd, 1865 55 open-minded Schopfheim citizens founded the Schopfheim advance payment bank. The foundation stone for the later Volksbank Schopfheim was laid in the 19th century. In 2001 the members of Volksbank Schopfheim and Raiffeisenbank Maulburg decided to merge. This resulted in today's VR-Bank eG Schopfheim-Maulburg.
Initial and continuing education
The VR-Bank eG Schopfheim-Maulburg offers a three-year apprenticeship as a banker through the shortened apprenticeship as a financial assistant up to a degree at the DHBW for a Bachelor of Arts.
