Today's bank was founded in November 1912 under the name Raiffeisenbank Oberhaching, registered cooperative with limited liability . It changed its name to Raiffeisenbank Oberhaching-Sauerlach eG and Volksbank-Raiffeisenbank Oberhaching-Wolfratshausen eG until the current company was accepted in 2002.
