V Live is a live streaming service from the South Korean internet company Naver . The service is called Android and iOS - App as well as a site provided. Primarily, K-Pop stars broadcast live video through the service and thus interact with their fans. The service started in August 2015.

There were already various portals in South Korea with which Korean pop idols could get in touch with their fans. However, the services were often narrowly restricted to South Korea or East Asia. With the streaming service V Live, Naver would like to bring the K-Pop stars closer to international fans. Viewers have the ability to record video directly to liken and comment in real time while the stars can read them directly and react.

V Live offers over 700 channels for different K-Pop stars such as BTS , Exo , Got7 , Big Bang , Blackpink , Twice and Seventeen, as well as for some actors such as Park Bo-young and Lee Jong-suk . V Live broadcasts live chats with fans, gigs, reality shows and award ceremonies. The stars often broadcast according to their mood, even while eating ( Mok-Bang ) or autonomous-sensory-meridian-response videos.
