Park Bo-young (born February 12, 1990 in Jeungpyeong , North Chungcheong ) is a South Korean actress . She is best known for the romantic comedy Speedy Scandal (2008), in which she played a leading role alongside Cha Tae-hyun . The film had over 8 million viewers in South Korea. For her role she was u. a. honored with the Blue Dragon Award and the Paeksang Arts Award for best young actress . In 2012 she played the lead role in the romance film A Werewolf Boy , in which she falls in love with a boy who can turn into a werewolf.

In 2014 she played the lead female role in the film Hot Young Bloods , in which she plays the leader of a girl clique. In 2015, after a seven-year hiatus, she returned to television to star in the drama Oh My Ghostess . For the series she receives the highest fee that the television broadcaster tvN has ever paid an actress.
