Kathrin Anna Stahl (* 1977 in Weiden in der Oberpfalz , Bavaria ) is a German actress , director , screenwriter and producer .

Life

Kathrin Anna Stahl grew up in the municipality of Irchenrieth in the Upper Palatinate. After graduating from high school in Weiden, she studied music theater at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich and at the same time completed acting training with various teachers at the Otto Falckenberg School. During her studies she played a. a. at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding .

In addition to her studies, she worked on film projects in various functions. So u. a. at Marcus H. Rosenmüller as assistant director . In 2008 Stahl wrote the script for her first short film Last Exit Weiden-Ost , which she also directed . The film was produced by Martin Blankemeyer for the Munich film workshop , Johannes Kirchlechner acted as cameraman , Monika Manz , Gerd Lohmeyer and Stefan Murr took over the leading roles .

In 2014 Stahl made another short film, for which she wrote the script based on a template by Friedrich Hebbel and took on the lead role herself. The filming under her direction took place in March 2014, alongside her Butz Buse can be seen in the male lead.

Immediately after completing her studies, Kathrin Anna Stahl was hired at the Konstanz Theater for Die Blume von Hawaii , where she was discovered by the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden for the same play. Further stations (among others) of her theater career: State Theater Cottbus , Bavarian State Theater , Comedy in the Bayerischer Hof , Altes Schauspielhaus Stuttgart , Vorarlberger Landestheater .

Others

Stahl is the first known stage interpreter of Bettina from Erich Wolfgang Korngold's only operetta: The Silent Serenade .
