history

Until the church is planted

Irchenrieth belonged to the Landgraviate of Leuchtenberg , later to the Leuchtenberg court of the Electorate of Bavaria . The Landgraviate of Leuchtenberg finally fell to Bavaria in 1712/14. In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

20th century

On January 1, 1978, the community Bechtsrieth was incorporated. Since January 1, 1994, Bechtsrieth and Trebsau have again formed their own municipality after a referendum and the approval of the Bavarian state parliament.

In 1998, according to official statistics in the manufacturing industry and in the trade and transport sector, there were no employees at work subject to social security contributions.
