history
Until the church is planted
In Püchersreuth there is the old and the new castle. While the old castle is only present in built-up remains, the new castle characterizes the town center. The spacious property consists of a large inner courtyard, which is enclosed by the residential wing and various outbuildings. The New Palace is privately owned. Two double coats of arms ( Hundt and Sparneck ) on the New Palace and on the altar in the lower church indicate that the two families jointly managed the estate.
The place Püchersreuth was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and from the middle of the 17th to the middle of the 18th century the seat of a closed Hofmark of the von Hundt family . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
