Botzersreuth is a district of Püchersreuth in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Palatinate .

Geographical location

The hamlet is 2 km northwest of Püchersreuth, east of the Schlattein .

history

Botzersreuth (also Patenreut, Patzellsreutt, Potzerßreut, Potzersreuth, Potzersreith ) was mentioned in the Salbuch with 3 goods and the Kronmühle . In the interest register of 1514 the place was listed with 4 goods. The land register of 1602 mentioned Botzersreuth with four courtyards and a shepherd's house.

Botzersreuth belonged to the Lobkowitzian lordship of Störnstein-Neustadt. This rule included the villages of Haidmühle , Sauernlohe , Neustadt an der Waldnaab , Störnstein , Wiedenhof , Aich , Roschau , Görnitz , Harlesberg , Altenstadt an der Waldnaab, Mühlberg , Denkreuth , Ernsthof , Lanz , Oberndorf , Rastenhof , Wöllershof , Botzersreuth, Kronmühle , Saint Quirin . In addition, the area of Waldthurn with 28 villages and wastelands belonged to this rule.

In 1641, Störnstein-Neustadt was raised to the status of a princely county under Wenzel Eusebius von Lobkowicz . The rulership was divided into 4 quarters: Neustädter Viertel, Altenstädter Viertel, Denkreuther Viertel and Oberndorfer Viertel. Botzersreuth belonged to the Oberndorf district.

In 1742 there were 4 farms, 1 shepherd, 10 oxen, 10 cows, 14 young cattle, 3 mother sows, 4 freshlings, 8 sheep and 4 goats. According to the crew register, in 1797 the place had 4 farms, 1 shepherd's house and 4 lordship subjects.

In 1807 Prince Franz Josef von Lobkowitz, Duke zu Raudnitz, sold the prince-prince of Störnstein-Neustadt to the Crown of Bavaria .

Botzersreuth belonged to the Lanz tax district founded at the beginning of the 19th century . Lanz was at the same time a direct rural community, which also contained the tax district Wöllershof. The municipality of Lanz included Botzersreuth, Dürrmaulmühle, Ernsthof, Kronmühle, Lanz, Oberndorf, Sankt Quirin, Rastenhof, Reisersdorf and Wöllershof.

In 1929 Botzersreuth was incorporated into the newly established parish of Neustadt an der Waldnaab .

1950 Botzersreuth was incorporated into the community of Ilsenbach . This came on January 1, 1972 with its districts to the municipality of Püchersreuth.
