The Wittelsbacher Ludwig der Strenge bought the Störnstein estate from Ulrich Stör in 1262 and united it with the Neustadt estate to form the Störnstein-Neustadt estate. The sturgeon family was a branch of the Lords of Murach , who were connected with the Ortenburgers . This purchase was an attempt by the Wittelsbachers to reduce the influence of the Ortenburgers in the Upper Palatinate.

The Salbuch Ludwig des Strengen from 1283 recorded Roschau with 3 farms as belonging to the Störnstein lordship.

Roschau (also Rassowe, Raschawe, Rathawe, Ratschau, Roschawe, Roschaw ) was in the arable 1285 and 1326 and in the Czech so-called Salbuechlein mention of the 1366th Roshau was listed in the interest register from 1514 with 3 interest goods.

When Georg von Heideck died in 1551, his fiefdom passed to his son Johann Ulrich von Heideck. 1 farmer in Roschau belonged to this fiefdom. Hammerharlesberg was also personally owned by the Heidecker family. In order to operate this hammer, Ulrich von Heideck signed a contract with Willibald von Wirsberg zu Waldthurn in 1553 on the use of the forest around Höll .

In Urbarium the rule Störenstain and Neustatt at the Waldnabe, Anno Domini 1607 of Ladislaus the Younger of Lobkowicz was mentioned a Roschauer pond as part of the property. In the arable land of 1602 and 1653, Roschau appeared with 4 courtyards, a shepherd's house and 4 teams.

1641 Störnstein-Neustadt was Wenzel Eusebius of Lobkowicz to applicable princely county . The rulership was divided into 4 quarters: Neustädter Viertel, Altenstädter Viertel, Denkreuther Viertel and Oberndorfer Viertel. Roschau belonged to the Neustadt district.

The tax book of 1742 named Roschau with 4 farms, a house, 16 oxen, 10 cows, 4 young cattle, 4 mother pigs, 7 newborns, 6 sheep, 2 goats. In the team register of 1797, Roschau stood with 4 courtyards, a house, a shepherd's house and 5 subordinates. Roschau was landable with the lower jurisdiction, the services, duties and taxes to the Oberamt Neustadt. The authorities with higher jurisdiction and crew were Lobkowitzian. Roschau was mentioned in 1798 in a feudal letter from Emperor Franz II for Prince Joseph Maximilian, Duke of Sagan-Lobkowitz.

In 1807 Prince Franz Josef von Lobkowitz, Duke zu Raudnitz, sold the prince-prince of Störnstein-Neustadt to the Crown of Bavaria .
