Fichtlmühle is a district of Theisseil in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Palatinate .

Geographical location

Fichtlmühle is located on the Mühlbach. The Mühlbach is derived from the Girnitz 370 m south-east of the Fichtlmühle to operate the mill . It then flows on the southwest side parallel to the Girnitz and flows back into the Girnitz 300 m northwest of Fichtlmühle. The Fichtlmühle is located on the narrow strip of land between Mühlbach and Girnitz. Fichtlmühle is located 2.3 km east of Roschau and 2 km southeast of Störnstein .

Fichtlmühle (also Vichtelmühl ) was mentioned in Störnstein's interest register from 1514 and in the Salbuch from 1580 and 1598.

Fichtlmühle belonged to the community of Roschau. Roschau was a tax district and an immediate rural community, formed with the community edict 1808. The community Roschau consisted of the localities Roschau, Aich, Fichtlmühle, Görnitz, Hammerharlesberg, Harlesberg and Wiedenhof. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Roschau was merged with Edeldorf and Letzau in 1972 to form the newly formed municipality of Theisseil.
