Auerberg is a district of Püchersreuth in the district of Neustadt an der Waldnaab in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Palatinate .

Geographical location

Auerberg is located 2.5 km north of Püchersreuth on the east bank of the Schlattein . The Auerbach flows south of Auerberg in an east-west direction and flows into the Schlattein 900 m south-west of Auerberg.

history

Auerberg (also: Aurperck, Maurperckh, Auerperg, Maurperg) was mentioned in the fief book of 1396 as a fiefdom of the Wildenawer. In the Salbuch of 1514 Auerberg was recorded with 1 farmer, 9 horses, 9 cows, 6 young cattle and 5 pigs. In 1580 Auerberg had a farm and a mill. The Salbuch from 1598 listed Auerberg with 1 yard, 1 house, 1 barn, garden, 1 mill. In 1621 Auerberg reported the loss of cattle with 1 cow, 1 calf and 8 pigs. In the official description of 1652 Auerberg appeared with 1 farm, 1 married couple with 5 children, 4 oxen, 1 cow, 5 young cattle and 2 pigs. Around 1800 the desert Auerberg had 3 houses and 12 inhabitants. She belonged to the raft office .

At the beginning of the 19th century Auerberg belonged to the immediate rural community of Schlattein . When, according to the municipal code of April 29, 1869, Ilsenbach became an indirect rural municipality, the village of Auerberg became part of the Ilsenbach municipality. From 1950 the villages of Auerberg, Botzersreuth, Ilsenbach, Kronmühle and Sankt Quirin belonged to the community of Ilsenbach. Auerberg was incorporated into the municipality of Püchersreuth on January 1, 1972 as a district of the municipality of Ilsenbach.
