Johann Jacob Philipp Muttone (* 1699 in Waldsassen ; † 1775 ) was a master builder in the Upper Palatinate Stiftland ( Tirschenreuth district ).

Muttone was born in 1699 as the son of Francesco Antonio Muttoni from Cima , an Italian architect and a baker's daughter from Waldsassen. From 1733 until his death in 1775, he was, among other things, the master builder and construction director of the Waldsassen monastery , where he worked as a brother or lay brother. Builders were u. a. the abbots Alexander Vogel and Wigand Deltsch .

Significant buildings in the Stiftland, whose architectural landscape he helped shape, come from his hand. As the most common building material, Muttone used native granite , which was not missing in any of his buildings.
