Münchenreuth (Waldsassen)
Münchenreuth is a district of the municipality of Waldsassen in the Tirschenreuth district and is located on the eastern southern edge of the Kohlwald in the Upper Palatinate Stiftland .
The parish village is the seat of the northernmost parish in the Upper Palatinate . The well-known Dreifaltigkeitskirche Kappl is located in the Münchenreuth district , just one kilometer from the village.
Until June 30, 1972, Münchenreuth was an independent municipality, which, with its eight towns, Hundsbach , Kappel , Mitterhof , Münchenreuth, Naßgütl , Neusorg , Pechtnersreuth and Schottenhof, was completely incorporated into Waldsassen. The population of the village was 201 as of the May 25, 1987 census .
