Querenbach (Waldsassen)

Old farm

Querenbach is a street village in the Tirschenreuth district ( Upper Palatinate ), which is incorporated into Waldsassen . It has only a few, but well-preserved, old farmhouses , all of which are in a row on a side street. In the 1950s the village was at the end near the forest a sanatorium or a tuberculosis - sanatorium . After its dissolution, the buildings were used as a holiday home by a Berlin institution in Kreuzberg in the following years .

On January 1, 1972, Querenbach was incorporated into the town of Waldsassen .
