Pechtnersreuth
The village of Pechtnersreuth, which is incorporated into Waldsassen ( Tirschenreuth district ), is located in the Kohlwald directly on the German-Czech border and is the northernmost settlement in the Upper Palatinate . There are only a few farms in this typical farming village.
Worth seeing is the White Torture near Pechtnersreuth, a baroque statue with the representation of the Holy Trinity . It was erected on the way to the town of Münchenreuth after a vow made by the Eger citizen Johannes Adler on the occasion of his rescue from a planned robbery and murder and was consecrated in 1713.
There is a mighty linden tree next to the White Marter .
