Valões is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Valões belongs to the district Vila Verde in Braga District . The community had an area of ​​3.9 km² and 195 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Valões, Codeceda , Atães , Covas and Penascais were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias do Vade .
