The Val Duron (Durontal) is a valley in the Dolomites . It was named after the stream of the same name that runs through the valley. The Durontal connects the Alpe di Siusi with the Fassa Valley . The valley can be reached from Campitello di Fassa on foot and by mountain bike. It lies at approx. 2000  m above sea level and is framed in the west by the rose garden and in the north by the Langkofel group . The valley belongs to the municipality of Campitello in the province of Trentino .

On the north side of the valley, the Friedrich-August-Weg leads along the southern slopes of the Zahnkofel and Plattkofel , a well-traveled mountain hiking trail around the Langkofel group, from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the adjacent mountain groups.
