Valbom is a village and a former municipality in northern Portugal .

Valbom was the seat of an independent municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Pinhel . 214 inhabitants live in the former municipal area (as of June 30, 2011).

As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal in 2013 , the municipality of Valbom was dissolved on September 29, 2013 and merged with the municipality of Bogalhal to form the new municipality of Valbom / Bogalhal . The seat of the new municipality was Valbom.
