Valdir Benedito (born October 25, 1965 in Araraquara ) is a former Brazilian football player . He started his career at AE Ferroviária and later played for Athletico Paranaense , Atlético Mineiro , Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and SC Internacional in Brazil and for Kashiwa Reysol in Japan. In 1991 he took part in the Copa America 1991 and played for the Brazilian national team.
