Attractions

The former municipality ( Freguesia ) Vale de Água belongs to the district ( concelho ) of Santiago do Cacém . It had a total area of ​​76.1 km² and 627 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal on September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Vale de Água and São Domingos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de São Domingos e Vale de Água . The headquarters of the new municipality was São Domingos.
