Vallejo de Orbó is a Spanish town in the province of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castile and León . Vallejo de Orbó belongs to Brañosera , it is located four kilometers southeast of the main town of the municipality. Vallejo de Orbó can be reached from the PP-2251 road.
history
Vallejo de Orbó was built at the beginning of the 20th century as a settlement of the miners, then called Colonia Obrera de las Minas de Orbó . At its heyday, the place had around 2000 residents. In 1954, Vallejo de Orbó was split off from Orbó and established as an independent municipality (municipio) under its current name.
