Vallesia
The Vallesia are a Swiss cultural-historical yearbook published by the Valais State Archives in Sion . Together with the Annales valaisannes and the Blätter für Walliser Geschichte, the series is one of the most important organs of Valais history .
The publication has been published since 1946 and publishes articles on the history , archeology, art history and history of monuments in the canton of Valais on the one hand and the annual reports of the cantonal institutions for culture on the other: Valais State Archives, Valais Media Library , Valais canton museums, monument preservation, canton archeology and cantonal cultural property protection. In the reports, the departments provide information about their activities and the diverse cantonal collections on cultural history. The scientific articles are written in French and German in accordance with the bilingualism of the canton of Valais.
