Vally from Rüxleben

Vally Baroness von Rüxleben , born von Wolden (born February 2, 1864 in Grünberg , Dramburg district , † January 18, 1941 in Dresden ) was a German writer .

Life

She came from the Pomeranian noble family von Wolden and was the daughter of a manor owner. In 1885 she married a Baron von Rüxleben . Her husband died in 1890. As a widow she lived in Köslin until 1902 , then in Berlin-Wilmersdorf and finally in Dresden .

As a writer, she published poems and short stories, sometimes under the pseudonym "Hans Carmer".
