Wolde (noble family)
Wolde , also Wolden , is the name of an old Pomeranian noble family .
history
The family originally came from Holstein and came to Western Pomerania via Stralsund through marriage. The documentary called on January 10, 1284 H. Wolde , probably with the occurring in the years 1287 to 1294 Hinricus de Wolde aka Hinricus de Silva alias Hinricus Voss de Wolde , a member of the noble family Voss identical, which his name Wolde from his property of the same name borrowed in Western Pomerania , identical. For the first time in Pomerania, Nicolaus de Wolde, an undisputed relative, appears as a witness in 1339. This is followed by Eggert of the Wolde in the years 1385 and 1387, as well as Hans von Wolde in 1398. As early as 1394, the family shares in the three lines Wusterbarth-Bärwalde, Coprieben and Wusterbarth-Sietkow.
The family belonged to the "four sexes" who were enfeoffed together with the "Copriebenschen Busch" and the "Pieleborgschen Heide" ("Pieleburger Heide") in the Bärwalde region . The family was well off in Western Pomerania , so the Wolde had to provide a total of 17 horses derived from their fiefdom according to the model roll of 1523 . The family owned numerous fiefs in the vicinity of the cities of Belgard , Neustettin and Cammin , such as Kunow from 1563 to 1723 . At the beginning of the 19th century, the goods Wusterbarth , Lasbeck , Lankow , Wusterwitz and Karkow belonged to the family property.
Outside Pomerania, the Wolde owned the Lotzinken estate in Pomerania, the Neverin and Wolde estates in Mecklenburg and the Oberfreiberg and Voigtsberg estates in Saxony .
