history

Very early on, the parents encouraged the five girls to make music and sing. Family appearances were not uncommon. In the family, the Christian faith, especially the love of God and hope, has always been processed and passed on through music. In 1999 Thomas van Dooren died of cancer. The sisters got back together as a band and released their maxi CD This Day . The album Share Eternity followed a short time later . Through performances at home and abroad, they became very well known in the Christian music scene. However, according to their own statement, they cannot make a living from music alone.

Occur

When asked whether they never quarrel and how that affects their appearances, Naomi told Radio Horeb that, of course, they sometimes quarrel. But somebody will start to reconcile at some point and this bodily experience of God can then simply be felt at a concert. After a reconciliation, a concert simply has more momentum and enthusiasm and the message is more honest.

Texts

The Van Dooren Sisters' lyrics are about love, family, friendship and above all about God. In the song Daddy Song, the father's death is processed.
