Vance "Chip" Parmelly (born October 11, 1956 ) is a retired American wheelchair tennis player .
Career
Vance Parmelly started in the paraplegic class .
He participated in the Paralympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta in part. In singles he reached the round of 16, where he was defeated by David Hall in two sets. In doubles, he won the gold medal alongside Stephen Welch . In the final, they defeated David Hall and Mick Connell in three sets.
In the world rankings, he achieved his best placings in singles with fifth place on March 22, 1994 and in doubles with second place on May 21, 1996. His last full season was in 1997.
