The Vanden Plas Princess 3 Liter was a four-door sedan from the British Motor Corporation (BMC), which it produced under the traditional name Vanden Plas from 1959 to 1964.

The Princess 3-liter Mark I was equipped with the same 6-cylinder in-line engine as the Austin A110 with 2912 cc displacement, which passed on its output of 112 bhp (82 kW) to the rear wheels. Its body corresponded to that of the Austin A105 Vanden Plas, but had a square grille with vertical chrome bars (similar to that of the 4 liter sedan ) and two small, round grills next to it.
The 3 liter was only manufactured as a luxuriously equipped sedan and reached a top speed of 156 km / h. Its fuel consumption was 16.5 l / 100 km.

The Princess 3 Liter Mark II from 1961 had a completely new body from Pininfarina in the style of the Austin A60 and a slightly more powerful engine with 120 bhp (88 kW). The external dimensions remained the same, but the wheelbase was lengthened by 2 "(51 mm). As a result, the inner fenders no longer reached that far into the interior and there was more space available.
The car reached a top speed of 169 km / h with a lower fuel consumption of 15.4 l / 100 km.
In 1964 the Princess 4 Liter R replaced the Princess 3 Liter.
