Vanessa Baudzus (born January 15, 1978 in Essen ) is a German soccer player . She is currently a player and assistant coach for the SC 07 Bad Neuenahr team in the 2nd Bundesliga South .
Vanessa Baudzus played in the Bundesliga for SC 07 Bad Neuenahr and SV Grün-Weiß Brauweiler until 2008 . The defensive player has been used once as a national player, when she came on for striker Monika Meyer in the international match against Italy (1-0 win in Catania ) on February 5, 1998 . She played two internationals for the U-16 selection, seven for the U-21 selection and was used for the national team of the students . In 2004 Vanessa Baudzus suffered a cruciate ligament injury. Until her injury, she played over 100 first division games. Due to work and injury, she took a career break. It was then reactivated at SC 07 Bad Neuenahr. For the 2008/09 season, Baudzus moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the second women's division for two years . In the two years in Leverkusen, she played 41 championship and five DFB cup games. She scored six goals and two goals in the DFB Cup. In the 2009/2010 season she was promoted to the first women's soccer league with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Shortly before the end of the 2010 transfer period, she was signed for the second division team of FCR 2001 Duisburg to help the team threatened with relegation as a leader. Relegation was secured with her. The team achieved an unexpected 6th place. Baudzus contributed three goals as a defender in 14 appearances. At the end of the season, the one-year contract in Duisburg expired. From the 2011/12 season, Baudzus will take over the management of the women's football department at SC 07 Bad Neuenahr and will also be co-trainer and player of the club's second team, which has just been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga South .
Vanessa Baudzus has held the DFB-Trainer-C license since December 2009 and the DFB-Trainer B license since December 2010.
