Vanessa Kamga (born November 19, 1998 ) is a Swedish discus thrower who occasionally competes in the shot put .
Athletic career
Vanessa Kamga gained her first international experience in 2017 when she was eliminated from the shot put at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with 13.67 m in qualification and in the discus competition with a distance of 45.07 m came eleventh. The following year she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , but did not make it to the final with 54.88 m. In 2019 she was fifth at the U23 European Championships in Gävle, home with 55.48 m and also took part in the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated in qualifying with 55.87 m .
In 2017 and 2018 Kamga was the Swedish champion in discus throw.
