Vanessa Müller (born April 1, 1994 in Mühlhausen / Thuringia ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Müller started her career at SpVgg 09 Faulungen. Then she switched to Spg. Lengenfeld / Stein, where she played some games in the Thuringian national team. In the summer of 2009 she left Lengenfeld and moved to the youth center of the 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . After a year in the B-youth of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, she made her senior debut for the reserve team under coach Thomas Kandler on August 22, 2010 against BV Cloppenburg. Due to injury problems, she moved to the Bundesliga squad of Turbine in December 2011, but did not get beyond the reserve role. In the summer of 2013, after 51 games for Turbine Potsdam II, she returned to Thuringia and signed for the Bundesliga club FF USV Jena. She made her debut for USV Jena on August 31, 2013 in the first round of the DFB Cup 2013 and her Bundesliga debut against VfL Sindelfingen on December 1, 2013 . Müller came on in the game in the 89th minute for Iva Landeka .

Personal

Her older sister Elisa Müller (* 1990) is currently also playing football for the reserves of the FF USV Jena. Vanessa's older sister Theresa Müller (* 1991) played for FF USV Jena until 2009 and was promoted to the Bundesliga under Heidi Vater with the club in 2008. Theresa ended her career in 2010 due to an injury.
