Vanessa Mason

Vanessa Mason (born December 23, 1976 in Berlin ) is a German-American singer and dancer.

Mason's father is a former GI from the United States based in Berlin ; she grew up in Berlin and started singing at the age of 16. From 1994 to 1998 she was a singer in the Eurodance group Real McCoy . In 2000 she appeared as a solo artist in the opening act for D'Angelo and Jazzmatazz and in 2001 she released the single "Du & Ich" together with the reggae musician D-Flame . She also sang as a background singer for Farin Urlaub , Udo Lindenberg , Yvonne Catterfeld and in the live performance "Peter Fox - Live in der Wuhlheide".

In 2005 her first album "Music" was released. Before that she was involved in the first solo album of her former bandmate O-Jay . In 2008 Mason recorded the duet "Zucker" with Peter Fox for his album Stadtaffe .

In 2010 Mason opened her own dance school "Charlottes Boogie Stube" in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg .
