In the hall

The Gradska dvorana Varaždin is a multi-purpose hall in the Croatian town of Varazdin . It is mainly used for handball and basketball games. The hall holds up to 5400 spectators.

On December 6, 2008, the complex was officially opened. The construction costs amounted to 193 million Croatian kuna (about 26 million euros ). It was one of the venues for the men's handball world championship in 2009 and the European men's handball championship in 2018 .
