The Varbak Point (English; Bulgarian нос Върбак nos Warbak ) is an icy headland on the southwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 8.45 km southwest of Cape Smith , 8.5 km northeast of Sredets Point and 4.63 km east of Mount Pisgah on the southwest side of the entrance to Pakusha Cove .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Warbak in northeastern Bulgaria .
