Vasile Bizau
Vasile Bizău (born October 14, 1969 in Dragomireşti ) is a Romanian clergyman and bishop of Maramureş .
Life
Vasile Bizau was ordained a priest on August 31, 1997 . The synod appointed him on June 20, 2007 auxiliary bishop in Făgăraş and Alba Iulia . Pope Benedict XVI confirmed him on October 27, 2007 and appointed him titular bishop of Appiaria . The episcopal ordination donated him the Grand Archbishop of Făgăraş and Alba Iulia, Lucian Mureşan , on December 16 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Florentin Crihălmeanu , Bishop of Cluj-Gherla , and Ioan Șişeştean , Bishop of Maramureş.
On June 11, 2011 he was confirmed as Bishop of Maramureș and on July 23 of the same year he was introduced to the office.
