Vasiliki Kasapi

Vasiliki Kasapi (born March 22, 1983 in Thessaloniki ) is a former Greek weightlifter .

She reached eighth place in the super heavyweight division at the 2001 World Championships . In 2002 she was European Junior Champion and sixth at the World Championships . At the European Championships in 2003 she was fifth in a duel and won bronze in the snatch. In 2004 she took part in the Olympic Games in Athens, where she finished eighth. In 2007 she was seventh at the European Championships and sixth at the World Championships. During a training check in 2008, Kasapi, like ten other members of the Greek national team, tested positive and was then banned from the world association IMF for two years.
