In 1951 the Wyvern got a new, now self-supporting pontoon body. The engine of the previous model was taken over, but had a little more power (35 bhp / 26 kW). The front torsion bar suspension was replaced by coil springs, and the top speed increased to 101 km / h. A Vauxhall Velox was also available in this body .
In the year after the appearance of the first pontoon model, it received a new engine with 1507 cm³ and optionally 40 bhp (29 kW) or 47.7 bhp (35 kW) power. The top speed increased to 115 km / h. The sister model Vauxhall Velox went through a similar transformation. In 1957 the Wyvern was replaced by the more modern Vauxhall Victor .
