Veikko Räsänen (born August 5, 1928 in Maaninka , † December 29, 2003 in Siilinjärvi ) was a Finnish cross-country skier .

Räsänen won the Svenska Skidspelen in 1953 in the 18 km run. At the 1954 World Championships in Falun , he took sixth place over 15 km. In the same year he was runner-up in the Lahti Ski Games over 18 km and Finnish champion over 15 km. Two years later he ran at the Olympic Winter Games in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 14th place over 15 km. In March 1957, he finished second at the Lahti Ski Games over 50 km. At the 1958 World Championships in Lahti , he came in 13th place over 15 km and eighth place over 30 km. The following year he was third at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival in the 50 km run. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he finished eighth over 50 km. In 1961 he won third place over 30 km at the Svenska Skidspelen. His son is the former cross-country skier Jari Räsänen .
